Walk-in-Interview
Five posts of Accountants (one each for District Rohtak, Panchkula, Fatehabad, Karnal and Hisar) are to be filled up in the Haryana State Rural Livelihoods Mission on contract basis for one year and likely to be extended on the basis of satisfactory performance.

Qualifications & Experience for the post of Accountant

The candidate should have passed B.Com with 50% marks with Computer knowledge. Persons should also have minimum one year experience as Accountant/Accounts Assistant or above in GovernmenVSemi GovernmenV Pvt. Ltd. Company/Board/Corporation and knowledge of Tally ERP 9 Software.

Consolidated Salary

Rs. 10,500/-permonth.

Age limit

2l years to 50 years

WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR THE POST OF YOUNG PROFESSIONAL (AGRICULTURE) ON 06.05.2015

The Government of India has launched Aajeevika-National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) in June 2011 under the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD). The mission aims at creating efficient and effective institutional platforms of the rural poor enabling them to increase household incomes through sustainable livelihoods and improved access to financial and public services.

The Government of Haryana has constituted the Haryana State Rural Livelihoods Mission (HSRLM) a Professionally managed autonomous society for implementation of NRLM. The mandate of HSRLM is to promote financially sustainable institutions of poor in the form of SHGs and their federations, and continuously nurture and support them till they improve their quality of life and come out of abject poverty. A state Mission Management Unit has been set up as a dedicated support structure to implement the mission activities in the State. The HSRLM aims to build a team of high quality professionals for providing implementation support to the District and Block units.

Community Managed Sustainable Agriculture (CMSA) has been tried out in NRLM in four States successfully and HSRLM is going to replicate CMSA intervention in four resource blocks – Siwan, Matanhail, Narnaund and Bawani Khera of districts Kaithal, Jhajjar, Hisar and Bhiwani respectively. 1- To reduce the cost of cultivation. 2- To Restore Soil health 3-Increasing in yield of small fragmented land so that small and marginal farmer enhance its livelihoods. The expected outcome of this intervention is change in the farming systems in the identified areas, increase production and productivity thereby benefitting 2500 households directly / indirectly, develop internal community resources and replicate the model on a large canvas.

To achieve this, HSRLM invites applicantions from young agriculture professionals to join this mission on contractual basis. The details of the qualification, experience/other competencies and honorarium etc. are as under:

Age: 21 yrs to 30 yrs (as on date of the Interview)

Basic Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Agriculture with 60% marks. Preference may be given to candidates with higher educational qualification in the field of agriculture.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in agriculture extension activities/ organic farming activities/ rural farm livelihood activities.

Other Competencies: Willingness to stay in village and travel extensively across block/district/state.

  • Ability to deal with multifunctional team and have conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent reading, writing and speaking Hindi and English.
  • Having a good communication and presentation skill.
  • Having Analytical skills.
  • Basic Computer knowledge including MS Office.
  • Willingness to travel as required by the project

Monthly Honorarium: Rs 25,000 – 28,500 pm depending on experience/ higher educational qualification in agriculture

Fixed Travel allowance of Rs 2000 pm, Internet & Phone Allowance Rs 1000 pm.

Selection: Selection will be done on the basis of academic achievements, experience in the relevant field, other competencies and performance in the personal interview.

Period of Appointment: 3 yrs on contractual basis renewable on year to year basis on the basis of performance.

Place of Posting: Siwan, Matanhail, Narnaund and Bawani Khera of districts Kaithal, Jhajjar, Hisar and Bhiwani respectively.

Specific Roles & Responsibilities include:

  • Support the implementation of CMSA/ultra poor strategy roll out through promotion of agro ecology under the NRLM.
  • Support planning, execution and monitoring of initiatives undertaken for the promotion of farm livelihoods.
  • Execute the capacity building intervention of the selected farmers/ SHG members followed by need assessment.
  • Support the special CRP drive for promotion of CMSA interventions in their respective village/block.
  • Develop pool of internal community resource person, progressive farmers for delivering of various capacity building interventions to identified farmers/ SHG.
  • Documentation of best practices of farmers being taken up under the CMSA interventions/farm based livelihood initiatives and other interventions of HSRLM.
  • Maintain MIS related to CMSA intervention on regular basis.
  • Perform any other related tasks assigned by DMMU/SMMU.
